The PADI Rescue Diver Course with New Wave Divers in Boracay, Philippines

 

During the PADI Rescue Diver course, you learn how to anticipate, recognize and prevent problems that occur before, during or after a scuba dive. The various rescue skills that you learn in the course prepare you to handle or assist in real emergency situations. This course can be completed in 3 to 4 days.

Upon completion, you earn the PADI Rescue Diver certification, which qualifies you to continue your dive education to the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating (if you have previously earned 5 Specialty Diver certifications such as Deep Diver and Enriched Air Nitrox Diver) or participate in the Divemaster course-- the first professional level in the PADI system of diver education.

To participate in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must:

     -Be at least 12 years old.

     -Be a PADI Open Water Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another agency.

     -Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another agency.

     -Have proof of CPR training, such as PADI Emergency First Response, within the past 24 months.

Note: Participants who are 12 to 14 years of age will receive the PADI Junior Rescue Diver certification.
